- GSO – General Services Office – Customs Expediter – FSN-6 (Open to: All Interested Candidates)
The Customs Expediter is responsible for customs and immigration assistance for USG personnel and other official travelers, expedites the customs clearance and other host government approvals of importation and exportation of household and personal effects (HHE), privately owned vehicles (POV), unaccompanied baggage (UAB), pets, and U.S. Government equipment and supplies for the Department of State and other agencies under Chief of Mission authority. The position is in the General Services Office (GSO) under the supervision of the Shipment Supervisor. Prior work experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the field of customs clearance/international shipping/transportation is required.
- RSO – Regional Security Office – Bodyguard – FSN-5 (Open to: All Interested Candidates)
Incumbent serves as a Bodyguard (BG) in the execution of protective security operations for the U.S. Ambassador/Chief of Mission (COM), and other designated U.S. government officials.
Prior work experience required: Two (2) years of private sector, government, police, or military experience in one or more of the following categories: bodyguard, armed escort, law enforcement officer, combat arms or infantry soldier is required.
- RSO – Regional Security Office – Security Investigator – FSN-9 (Open to: All Interested Candidates)
As supervisor of the FSNI Unit in the Regional Security Office (RSO), the Senior Foreign Service National Investigator (SFNI) is the principal security advisor on host country law enforcement and security matters. The SFNI is responsible for maintaining high-level contacts with local police and other host government security entities; assisting in the protection of post personnel and visiting U.S. government officials; obtaining and reporting on information concerning potential security threats to post personnel, facilities, or information; managing the local staff security briefing program and other RSO programs and initiatives; conducting sensitive investigations.
Prior work experience required: Minimum of five (5) years of law enforcement, military, private security, or investigative work experience is required.
- IMO – Information Management Office – Telephone and Radio Technician – FSN-7 (Open to: All Interested Candidates)
The Telephone and Radio Technician will support all aspects of communications operations for the Mission's radio/telephone networks as well as troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all Embassy-operated equipment. The incumbent will serve as the local expert in network and telecommunications cabling and be responsible for Cell Phone operations.
Prior work experience required: Three (3) years of experience maintaining or installing telephone or radio communications systems or equipment is required.
- IMO – Information Management Office – Telephone and Radio Technician (Training Level) – FSN-6 (Open to: All Interested Candidates)
The Telephone and Radio Technician will support all aspects of communications operations for the Mission's radio/telephone networks as well as troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all Embassy-operated equipment.
